About Us
“OPEN THE DOORS” is an informal non-profit organization which operates as a single “self-help group”. We are striving on a voluntary basis and are self funded. Our main focus is “our” Belizean children in Belize.
WHAT IS OUR CONCERN?
-No child should have to be sent home because he/she can’t pay his/her school fees.
-No child should go to school hungry, or be hungry at school. How in the world will they function and stay focused??WHY DO WE EXIST?
-To financially assist children who are in desperate need to continue and further their education.
-To positively contribute to their educational hopes and dreams and give them an opportunity to succeed.

WHY DO WE CARE?
-Because we recognize the need, the urgency, the chaos, the despair, and the fears of our young children who lost hope as a result of injustice, big big discrimination, and greed….you know the rest.
-Simply put….Deuteronomy 15:7-”If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother.
